Actually, I remember it being really, really funny in an intentially cheesy way…If I had time I’d go watch it again…It’s really clever, how it juxtaposes the two plays so that the dialogues for for them at various times make sense [...]

I went to the thing with the Spanish photographer, and they had incredibly good food at the reception (fancy catered hors d’evores, desserts, pastries, and fruit), which means that the Townsend center, which sponserd it, has lots and lots of money.
